Yes. Nurses had peculiar reason behind mass resignation

It is being claimed that 100 nurses in Rajasthan’s Jhalawar resigned because the Jamatis had misbehaved and were being spitting over them repeatedly.

It is now revealed that nurses indeed resigned to save themselves and the event has nothing to do with the Jamatis at all.

They resigned due to the lack of Personal Protective equipment and low wages they are receiving.

The screenshot of the news going viral because it simply says 100 nurses in jhalawar resigned without mentioning any reason or evidence of the mass resignation.

People believed on the rumor around and are being spreading it further without knowing the actual reason behind.

It is falsely associated with the mass resignation that ward boys while serving food to the Jamaatis encountered with the demand of biryani and abuse also with a warning if the demand is not met.

The screenshots of the tweets were also shared by number of influential personalities which in turn strengthen the belief behind the claim, though false.

Investigating into the matter the team has found also the full coverage by the popular news channel like News Nation which ran the bulletin about the resignation of the nurses. Some other such as ABP News and Lallantop had also covered the news with similar conclusions.

The article carried no mention of any misbehavior by members of Tablighi Jamaat causing the resignation. Disclosed indeed that the nursing staff had resigned because they refused to work for the wages as low Rs 6,000

According to the news, the nursing staff said that they would work for free if required but not for such low wages and also complained about the lack of PPE being provided to them to avoid being infected of coronavirus.

A video published by RNS Education News on 27th April is also been surfaced which briefs the similar facts behind the resignation episode.

Even the Dean of the Jhalawar Medical Hospital denied any association of the resignation with alleged misbehavior by members of Tablighi Jamaat and classified the news being Fake.
